The Event Center, also known as Room 100, is a modern and attractive venue that can hold a variety of events and meetings on campus. With over 7000 square feet, the space can be one large room or divided into two separate rooms to accommodate a variety of programs.
The space is equipped with standard audiovisual equipment as well as a state-of-the-art movie screen and surround sound on the east side of the room. Built-in tiered telescopic seating allows guests to enjoy lectures, movies, and other events using theatrical-style seating. This space has pre-programmed recessed lighting to control the ambiance of the space.
The event center has high ceilings, beautiful windows looking out into the campus, light tiled floors, and wooden accent walls, making this a desirable venue for banquets, concerts, dances, lectures, and evening movie showings. Leading into the event center, a beautiful pre-function space welcomes guests to the building. This provides an excellent space for receptions, registration, and display tables to complement the overall program in the event center. Outside of the event center is a beautiful patio that can be used to supplement programs in the event center, such as a cocktail reception.
The event center is in a prime location of the building, close to a lounge, dining spaces, and restrooms, perfect for breaks during meetings and events. The Southwest Entrance is on the walkway leading from the parking lots for commuters, faculty, staff, and guests, making it a very accessible location.
With 7378 square feet, the event center can be one large room or divided into two separate rooms (100 East and 100 West) to accommodate a variety of programs. When divided, the event center transforms into two different size rooms, with 100 East having 4318 square feet and 100 West having 3060 square feet.
The center utilizes our event furniture inventory, including stationary blue event chairs, 5ft diameter folding round tables, 6ft folding rectangular tables, cocktail tables, and staging. 100E has built-in tiered telescopic seating that can seat 216 guests. This allows the space to utilize an array of standard and custom setups.
The center has a variety of audiovisual capabilities, including standard to state-of-the-art equipment that can support a variety of functions, including lectures, presentations, and movies. The movie screen is available to be reserved for evening showings, while daytime programs and presentations should utilize standard presentation screens.
