The Global Corner is a multipurpose lounge featuring multiple television monitors, two massage chairs, dining seating, and soft seating. Located near the the north campus entrance, this area provides an opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle of campus life for relaxation, reflection, and informal community dialogues.
Four television monitors display news channels from a variety of countries providing a perfect area for informal community dialogues on world events and culture. For special events, the monitors can be combined to form one large viewing screen. Facing the screens are a curved couch with built in sofa tables with stools providing a great location to dine or gather with others.
The massage chairs face a beautiful set of windows looking out to the center of campus and provides great spot for relaxation and reflection. To ensure this opportunity is available for other members of the campus community, guests should limit massage chair use to 20 minutes at a time, wear shoes, and wipe down the chair after use.
