At the heart of fraternity and sorority life stands a strong dedication to community service. These groups are more than just social organizations – they are committed to making a positive impact on our campus community and the world around them. Through a wide range of philanthropic initiatives, our members embrace the opportunity to give back, working together to make a difference in the lives of others. We are proud to highlight the spirit of service that permeates within our community, and how our members are actively engaged in shaping a better, more caring world.
Each of our fraternities and sororities work with their national organizations to support philanthropic causes on local, regional and global levels. Throughout the year, each organization hosts fundraisers and educational events to raise awareness and support their philanthropies. In the 2022-2023 academic year, our groups gave more than 15,542 hours of their time towards community service and raised $190,421.16 for various charities and philanthropies.
