The TCNJ Group Fitness program offers a wide array of classes taught by trained instructors who are all certified in their respective specialties. Group fitness is a great way to improve your wellness whether you’re by yourself or with friends!
Membership in group fitness classes is $25 a semester. Classes during the first week of the semester, Tuesday, August 26th to Tuesday, September 2nd, will be free. Starting Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, you will need to purchase a group fitness membership to participate in group fitness classes. Please register for Group Fitness on our “TCNJ RecWell” app to be able to participate in classes after September 2nd.
Group fitness classes take place in the Recreation Center Fitness Studio. The group fitness studio is fully equipped with mats, weights, medicine balls, and more, so you don’t have to bring anything to your workout (unless you want to bring a water bottle or towel). However, you are welcome to bring your own equipment if you have it! Group Fitness classes are only available to TCNJ students, faculty, and staff.
