SUPPORT GREEK LIFE AT TCNJ!
The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life invites you to participate in an engaging and helpful effort . If each graduating senior and recent alumni to consider engaging in the $5-4-5 program, the money will go to support and enhance Greek life at TCNJ.
Simply, the $5-4-5 is a pledge to donate a minimum of $5 per year for the next 5 years.
$5-4-5 works in two ways – participation and dollars. The more participants in the program, the stronger the Greek presence is, and the more funds raised the more the program can be enhanced.
Funds raised will go directly to Fraternity & Sorority Life and support efforts to engage our Greek Alumni as well as support the leadership development of current undergraduate members. This donation will be recognized by the college. If you participate in this program, YOU ARE A COLLEGE RECOGNIZED DONOR – and we thank you for your participation (All in for TCNJ!)!
At its core, the funds support new programming initiatives. Ideas under consideration include:
1. Homecoming Spirit Week Greek Reunion. We will be reserving the RAT for current students and Greek Alumni to gather on Homecoming Eve. Homecoming you spend with your direct group – take advantage of Homecoming Eve to see friends from other fraternities and sororities. Food we be provided by Fraternity & Sorority Life. Details will be distributed through your current chapters Alumni communications.
2. Leadership Development. Send a current undergraduate to a nationally recognized Greek Leadership conference. These trainings have tremendous impact on the future of our Greek community – the more students we can send the more the community benefits.
3. Make a Greek Alumni Day the culminating event of Greek Week. Events and programs that alums and undergrads can partake in and reunite.
Even $5 per year for 5 years gets us started. If you can give more, more is appreciated, but your support is equal in importance to the amount. You can significantly contribute to the well-being of our Greek community and continue to grow the legacy created at TCNJ.
