Traditions Lounge is located on the first floor of the Brower Student Center within Traditions Restaurant. Traditions Lounge is sectioned off with a low partition looking into the restaurant, but has it’s own entrance from inside the building. It primarily functions as an independent event space, but can be reserved with the larger restaurant under specific guidelines with additional fees. Traditions Lounge is available to reserve independently from 1:30pm until the building closes each day.
The space has a built in stage with dynamic lighting and amplified sound. The modern audiovisual equipment is managed through the Student Finance Board. Groups seeking to have lighting or sound should request student technicians through the Student Finance Board.
Paired with soft seating throughout the space, this lounge is ideal for for small events such as comedy shows, open mic nights, karaoke, or improv performances. Dining Services as part of Student Services holds a weekly trivia night in Traditions Restaurant with a base in Traditions Lounge.
